Extrusion blow molding is a method of manufacturing hollow thermoplastic parts. The well known blow objects include bottles, barrels, cans, boxes and containers for all packaged foods, beverages, cosmetics, medicines and daily necessities. Large blow molding containers are usually used for packaging chemical products, lubricants and bulk materials. Other blow moulded products include balls, bellows and toys. For the automotive industry, fuel tanks, car shock absorbers, seat backs, central brackets, handrails and headrest covers are blown. For machinery and furniture manufacturing, blow molded parts include shell, door frame, frame, pottery, or box with an open surface.

Blow molding products of 3/4 are manufactured by extrusion blow molding. The extrusion process is to force products to manufacture products through a hole or mold.

The extrusion blow molding process consists of 5 steps:

1. plastic embryo (extrusion of hollow plastic tube);

2. to close the mold with the mold and cut off the mold on the mould;

3. to the cold wall of the die cavity, to adjust the opening and keep certain pressure during the cooling period;

Scope of application of blow molding

Generally, people’s daily necessities such as bottles, cans, baby articles, sporting goods and so on are common.

4. to open the mold and to unload the parts to be blown;
